Re: Are you glad to have bought a Chinese made CNC Router?

I'm in USA. About 10 years ago, I bought an "HD-Mini" from Techno. There were problems, but Techno and I solved them. After reading the various stories here ("Hasn't worked once since it arrived"... "Asks for password whcih I don't have" ...) I have to say I'm happy I bought from an established company, with real support people. Yeah, you can save money, but you just bought a piece of iron, and it's up to you to make it work.

PS: I bought Rhino and RhinoCAM. RhinoCAM has a long list of postprocessors built in, including one for Techno. Rhino is OK. RhinoCAM works, but they have no idea about how to write documentation.

Re: Are you glad to have bought a Chinese made CNC Router?

This post is too long, from 2007 to the present. Although I didn't speak English well, I spent a long time reading him. This has a lot to do with the history of CNC machine tool development in China, I am an engineer, and I have my own factory, not a translator. Of course, my products are mineral castings, and I serve many CNC machine tool manufacturers in China.

First of all, I am sorry that some foreigners have a bad experience with products purchased in China.
Why? The reason? Because many Chinese people English is very poor, a large part of the translators do not understand design, technology, principles, schemes, etc. So at Alibaba, you're only talking to someone who knows a little bit of English. If they do not understand technology, do not understand principles, do not understand solutions, etc., most likely he is not a manufacturing enterprise either, just a sales company with only two or three people.
Professional people do professional things. Having a translator directly as a sales engineer will definitely be a problem. In China, there are many people who understand a little English and can go to sales companies to do foreign trade. So the specific needs are certainly not clearly communicated. Then there must be deviations in the purchased things.
In order to reach cooperation --- sign contracts as soon as possible, translators will only do cheaper, in cheaper, and the final price is very scary.
My suggestion:If you like Chinese products just because of the price, I advise you not to cooperate. Because I believe there are cheaper products than China.
To buy Chinese things, you have to learn to think like Chinese,So if you can, you need to learn some basic Chinese and learn the Chinese language.Use China's WeChat for some quick exchanges, and of course some people in the forum are already aware of this key point.
Of course, it is best if you have a friend in China, and it is best to let him help you on a field trip. If not, you have to learn to communicate in real time using WeChat and find a Chinese friend.Because all Chinese have their own WeChat account, just like ID cards, they must have.
    My WeChat account: RenZaoDaLiShiZJ
    https://www.wechat.com/en/
Maybe I can help you, if you find it useful, you can add me as a WeChat friend. I will help you understand China, Chinese, Chinese products, win-win cooperation.

Going back to the discussion, there is also a lot of Chinese in this forum as to why they were most active around 2012 because of the product you focus on – milling wood, not steel. This equipment is a production base in Jinan.

I also know many milling wood manufacturing enterprises, and their bosses I also know, but due to the impact of economic development, a large number of CNC companies that mill wood have closed down.As a last resort, they switched to laser cutting machines and plasma cutting machines to cut steel plates, because they have similar structures and do not require high precision.(The factory started with the production of woodworking machinery, and then instead of producing woodworking machinery, began to produce laser cutting machines.)
So many Chinese people (translators) in this forum rarely commented around 2017.Because they are probably no longer in the industry, they will start selling other laser cutting machines or machining centers for milling steel plates. So to understand each other, if you want to buy Chinese things, you have to learn to think like a Chinese, first you have to use WeChat. Then make a real Chinese friend, maybe I am your Chinese friend.

Hi there. Last 7 years I imported 5 cnc routers from China. Ordered from JCUT, no problems. Robust machinery with nice parts on it.

Re: Are you glad to have bought a Chinese made CNC Router?

Not long ago, I customized a CNC router with a working size of 2030 at UTECH. I have received the goods for a month now, and they have basically made the machines according to my requirements. Before customization, I asked many detailed questions and they all replied one by one. At present, there are no major quality issues with the product. It's just that the cutting parameters were not adjusted according to the thickness of the cutting material at the beginning of use, resulting in poor cutting results. After consulting with the sales personnel for a solution, accurate cutting can be carried out. I have chosen an automatic tool changing model, which maximizes my time saving in production. Overall, this was a very satisfying purchasing experience.
