Ok Folks here are a few VcArve pics. The one that looks like a big coin is machined from 1/2" 7075 T6 Aluminum and the two black ones are black stained Maple then VCarved and cleared.

Looks awesome! I hope to be able to make such quality items with my machine someday. I am still learning and need lots of practice.

Thank you STUDYSESSION.
I think I attribute alot of success on these project to Vectric/Aspire&VCarve. WE have FEatureCam at work and it is an awesome software. Probably should be for $18,000.00.. right?? hehe. Anyway it just will not do some of the simple and visually effective things that Vectrics software will do. I am really fond of VCarving. It is fast and adds alot of detail to some simple geometry. 3D naturally is awesome but time does not always allow for that in my case. I have been doing alot of renderings in Aspire and VCarve on some small projects trying to see what detail I can add quickly to really make it stand out. Its alot of fun doing just that.
Steves chest that he VCarved is a prime example of how much detail can be added to a project.. I really like that.
Im not sure if we ever stop learning when it comes to machinng using this type of equipment (CNCs and Software)
Have fun with your projects.

I currently have VCarve 6 and saving up for Aspire. Hopefully can get the upgrade to Aspire by mid summer.

YOu will really like Aspire. i have VCarve on my personal computer for my shop at home. I bought Aspire for my shop at work. I supervise the Aircraft Metals Technology Shop (Machine & Welding) at BArksdale AFB in Louisiana. WE use Aspire on our Fadal Mill and Shopbot router here and love it. With that said I can do most of what I do ofter with VCarve since it has alot of the same features.

Here's my latest finishing attempt using Sculpt Nouveau. I've been trying for some time now to achieve a cast bronze look for my plaques and I think this qualifies. It's Bronze B Metal Coating and some watercolors for the organic patina appearance. The v-carving is 9.25" X 9.25" MDF.
