    Which one actually made the DXF, Photoshop or Illustrator?
    Illustrator does Photoshop does with a plugin I think....

    Chris,

    I use photoshop to bring up the contrast and lightly touch up any areas (the shine on your image) that would cause problems tracing.
    I then use Illustrator for converting it to vector.
    Though similar to the trace feature in Corel, Illustrator allows quite a bit more fine tuning of the trace resulting in more precise and/or cleaner trace.

    It is also pretty much the standard in the graphic design industry.

    I saved the file as DFX in Illustrator.
    Photoshop was used just to take the glare off of the photo

    I must be dumber than I thought. I saved the file to a jump drive and took it to the computer that has bob cad I can not get it to open I don't know if it is just me or what. I am sorry guys I thought I knew what I was doing. Any suggestions?

    Right click the link, Save target as. Make sure it is saving as a DXF file. What version of BC are you using?

    Unhappy Thank you

    I would like to thank everyone who helped me get started. Kevin and sbc cycle I would have been lost without you. I got it loaded into bobcad and sized. I was going to cut it and post pics but I found out I am out of .007 endmills. If I can borrow one from another guy I should post pics by tomorrow evening.
