Just started work on a Start/Stop/FWD/REV with LCD RPM indicator for the MC2100.
Microchip based.

Hi Al
I have an mc2100 +motor and I'm interested in your board for control. I 've tried different circuits with 555 and 556 but it runs erratically. Please let me know if you sell or share schematics and code

Hi Al, another Al here! I have a MC-2000E board and motor from a treadmill that worked but was given to me. I wanted to use it on a home made machine in my workshop and am very interested in your board and program. Please let me know about it as I believe that my board is almost identical to the 2100 and your gadget should work on either. Al

Hi Al, Yes mate you are right. Does this mean something I don't know about and is it good or bad?
I am still in awe of the sheer physical size of the pot for the speed control, it must be 125mm.
Does any of the pics confirm anything for you? If you need more or different ones let me know.
Al
The MC2000 appears to be a higher end version of the MC-60 which is SCR bridge controlled, not Mosfet PWM like the MC2100.
The three labeled H,W,L same as the MC-60 would just need a pot by the look of it, if you have a 5k or 10 k common linear pot, this should be all you need.
What does the 125mm pot measure (resistance)?

Do you mean the need to turn the pot down to zero before start?
If so, there is a fix for the earlier boards, but could be different for the MC2000.?

Hi again Al, no I meant the 3 second wait before the speed routine even starts so you've given me something else to consider now.
If we were to pretend that my 2000 is an MC-60 would it mean that (after applying the relevant fix) that I could leave the pot set in any position and turn on the power and all would work as expected. Or would the board want to go through certain routines first? Al
Yes, the fix for the older MC-60 is just to clip out the resistor and the pot does not have to be returned to zero every time a power down.

Resurrecting and older thread!
Does anyone using the MC2100 board, also use the tach?
I am getting info on the various means to achieve this?
OEM original? or DIY version?
