tis the one in the Middle set of dials under the keypad/board

left dial is spindle speed control, right is 'whole' machine control (probably has proper name)

my machine looks similar us yours. i can move x,y,z axis. but cant start reference.
i found speed control.
i have manual in German language. i translate where is writing about reference and do according to the instruction but reference not starting.

you need to go : Mode 3 (MDI MODE)

enter with keypad "M100" > LF Key (enter) > Cycle Start (directly above dials last/4th of the 4 button set - Square arrows 1 in the middle)

steps :

1 : MODE
2 : 3
3 : M100
4: LF
5: CYCLE-START

this references the machine and sets everything to zero - must be performed everytime you initialise/turn it on

takes about 30 seconds to complete the cycle

it will check xyz and rotate the tool changer to T1

i going to mode 3 and pushing start button, when # button and ref button according to instruction.
what means M100 ? i do not found it in instruction. maybe i just pass it

best stick with your manual if that's what it says to do - but no harm trying (generally speaking - disclaimer : I have many ideas - not all of them good!)

Just confirm with J checksum ram. This is nothing with battery.

Send some pictures of screen. You worked with this machine or you just bought it?

I just bought the machine scm record 2.
There were some wiring wrong fixtures on the input card which burnt the cards.
I have already changed the cards and rectified the problems.
Some one fixed the ac supply to the dc card which cause the malfunction.
I can send the pics only on next week monday
