Gerry or anyone do you know how to get both touch plates to show active when testing them? I am only able to get one to show active I have the both hooked up to my Gecko 540 input3 when I go to ports and pins in Mach3 input signals I then use the automated setup I am only able to get one to show active on the 2010 screen set. It will show active on the one I last one I setup not both I have tested both and the both work I can setup the fixed but then the other don't work or I can setup the movable plate then the fixed won't work?

How exactly do you have them wired? They should each have a wire tied to a single wire going to the input. If one works, the other should work as well, as they should be connected?

Reading you're post again, it really sounds like you have them wired to different inputs??
You should only be setting up one time, as Mach3 doesn't know there are two plates.

Ok I must have something wrong when trying to carve today I set material up used the one touch plate it worked like it should but then at cycle start it moved away from material and and stopped. I look at my 2010 screen it says hit cycle start after tool change. I thought maybe I hit the wrong button so I homed everything reloaded the G code and it did the same thing anyone know what is going on?

Your g-code has an M6 at the start, so Mach3 is waiting for you to change the tool. If you just click cycle start when asked, it will move to the fixed plate, reset zero, and continue cutting.
You may want to modify your post to remove the first M6. If you send it to me, I can do it for you if you want.

Also, if you're g-code has tool changes, make sure you use the Initial Auto zero that uses both plates.

Do you want me to post the G code it is one of The VCarve files that come with the program?

If you just want the code edited, then sure.
What I meant was to modify the post processor file.

If you use the ATC posts, they'll always have an M6 at the start, because a machine with an ATC has to pick up the first tool.
There a guide to editing the post processor at the Vectric forums, near the bottom I think.
