Does anybody have any tips on how to make this V-8 emblem into a 3D model?
I would like to cut it out for my brothers car club but am scratching my head. I am trying to duplicate it in Solidworks but have not been very successful since I'm a rookie. I would like to get it into a .stl so I can use Cut3D at work which I'm a rookie at too. Please give me your steps to create this in 3D.

How did you create this? The closest I came was to make the V part then make the 8 part and create an assembly which looked good. The problem is when I made an .stl it spit it out in 2 files since it was 2 parts. :withstupi The lightbulb went on but not all the way Looks like I need to make it all in one part. I Did half of the V and put fillets on it then mirrored it which looked good.

If you did it in Solidworks can you share the model so I can step through your process please? I would really appreciate it so I can learn some more.

I did it in SoliEdge. I used 1 part to create this. Think that my *.par(Solidedge) file dont help you to understand how it was created.
