    Hello,

I made one of these this week, from 3 old cd's.
I puzzled with all the elements to make it into an fly. In this image you can find the right order to make it a complete model.

    Greeting from Holland.

    Hi Steve,
Did you draw that in Sketch Up?
I have wondered if a DXF can be generated from a Sketch Up drawing?
How did you acheived this from the original PDF?

    Many thanks,

    Alan

There's a SketchIp to DXF and STL converter plugin... For PDF converter, you can convert with Inkscape and save as eps or Adobe software...

Yes alanstclair, only because it was Easy and fast to use and do.
And NO I did Not Use Inkscape, there is No vectors in the pdf file so it had to be drawn by hand.

It would be wonderful if you gave credit where it is due, his full name is Gregg Fleishman but, I think you know that. cheers TL

You joined just to post this? I'm sure you noticed that I linked directly to his site for all to see; I didn't post the PDFs with all credit removed, but I think you know that.

Keep in mind that the works are copyrighted and not patented, so making a different model using the same concepts would be allowed. Keep in mind these would be for personal use and not sold for profit.
