It's late (actually early) and I'm not sure if I'm digesting all of this page but if it orginally was close to the size you wanted but in mm why not just change Mach3's output to mm instead of inches?

I know what you are saying.
But I had a breakthrough with LazyCam in that I change MM to Inches then change either the X or Y size and it automatically changes the other keeping the same ratio.
That faint flicker of light in the tunnel is gettiing ever so brighter.
Now to understand the next part of Mach. I have the guide printed out, but I read it and reread it and it still doesn't sink in. I work best with examples not theory. But I can't wait for the "Mach3 for Dummies" version.
Glad you found a workable solution. I'm also pretty early in the learning curve myself.
Does anyone have a decent horse's head in dxf or Gcode?
I need to make someone an offer they can't refuse......
Cleaned and converted try it out. All the best
Thanks to everyone.
Here is a sign that is a day late.
Now for a quick question could you do the second tab in that logo file?
Happy St Pats.

The Flaming basketball makes a great gift for any player. Just put the name or initials in the ball.
Any body that has employees may appreciate the whine sign.

Weldtutor Horses head try these you can carve em up
Thanks Weldtutor and Pj3ns3n,
I'll check them out. I just got my license files for Mach3 and LazyCam so I'm anxious to try them out.
Thanks again,
Greg
A picture of the horse head for the DXF posted earlier is in my plasma table project log at this link.
See post #274
This may look familiar. I downloaded this from this site link but I do not know the contributor.
Whoever did this did a great job.
The beauty of this site is I'm a wood worker using a router for all of these files. One day i would like to build a plasma but i love this link.

You have put a lot of nice post up Thank you and to everyone else. Any other wood buffs in here? And am I offending any one by posting in here as a wood worker and not a metalworking?

For your week-end! Yes, you can use the DXF to cut it. (Wood or metal)
"Somebunny" might like this.

Jamf2,
Glad you like the DXF files.
When I first started posting DXF files here, I was adding a note If the file was for a router or plasma, then zd42 cut 2 of the files I posted for plasma, with a router.
The photos that zd42 posted looked Great (better than metal), So I stopped adding the router/plasma notes, since any of the plasma files could actually be cut with a router.
The 2 files in the link above are in post #1282 & #1301
I try to post a mix of woodworking & metal DXF files, I'll be honest, the plasma files are a lot faster to produce with Vcarve Pro, sometimes I just don't have enough time in the day (Family/Work/School).
My goal is to post an average of 2 dxf files a day, as of this post I'm at 43 for March, so that's 1 file ahead of schedule.
