Ok, so I bought V25 lathe a few weeks ago, and I've been playing with it on and off since then, but hadn't tried to post and actual code until yesterday. So anytime I try to post anything in lathe, I get a "CL file not found" error. My mill posts fine, and it doesn't seem to matter what post processor I have selected, it just doesn't work. Any one else seen this error before?

I get that sometimes as well, and I am on V27. Have you tried a shorter path? Are you using DropBox by any chance?

I do not use dropbox. I can try making a stupidly simple path (facing or something) and try posting that, but I'm not doing anything overly complex with the paths that I have now. Either way, it should still post the code that I want regardless of the length of the toolpath.

Is this an intermittent problem for you? I have yet to be able to post anything at all.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it gives me a zero length file, sometimes I get the CL message and it crashes.

What always, works, is to save the file to a shorter path, and then manually copy it to where I want it to go. Then it works every time if I over-write it.

yup, my nc file extension was blank. filled that in and it seems to be working now.
