    Mach 3 units not same as inches on my cnc

    Hi, i'm just a newb but when i move my cnc, lets say x-axis, 4'' it shows at 1.33 on the mach 3 program?
    is it set in mm? what exactly am i doing wrong?

    It doesn't sound like a mm/inch mismatch; that would move the stage 4 mm (.1576"). Try increasing the steps per unit for that axis (in Config/motor tuning) by a factor of 3 (triple whatever number you've got in the box) and see if you're any closer. Remember to click "save axis" before closing the motor tuning dialog.
