My second post in the forum.

I have pretty much ended my ideas of making my own Gantry, since pretty much the parts
needed has rip of prices in my area.

However, I have looked at these two German products

http://www.bzt-cnc.com/
and
http://www.cnc-step.com/

The general idea is to mill in wood (making pool cues) and many US makers have gone
for the Technos. The important part is that the mill must be able to use a really small drill-bit
in the range of 0.3-0.5mm to cut out some of the most intricate parts (I don´t mind using really
small steps in the depth range).

Is there any one which has one of these machines in any format? In case not, is there any experts
which could give me a feedback on the first impression on any of these?

Secondary work would be loudspeaker cabinet cutting, 3D milling with a 4th axis and some cutting
in aluminum to make parts for other machinery.

Any feed back - good or bad would be appreciated.

By the way, spending $20 000 / €14 300 on a Techno is way over my budget. Living in Europe makes US machines way to expensive.
