I'm trying to make a assembly, but I need some points on getting my parts to be the correct orientation. Any tips?

Well don't know if you figured out how to place your parts in assembly, since it has been a few days since you posted this thread, but if you haven't, the short answer is you need to start constraining your parts to other parts. Use "auto constrain" , etc.
Also a suggestion to all who have recently purchased Alibre and are thinking about purchasing the software, the 4 CD volume of training CD's are invaluable is is well worth the $100-$150 they charge. I hear that a 5th CD is in the works. Cudos to Alibre for doing such an excellent job!!! CD-3 goes over the assembly contraint commands.
I am also very pleased with the software and only recently purchased the software (12/04).

Correction on the cost of the training CD's, looks like they are charging $195. Still worth it.
With regards to assembly, they have a built in example/tutorial that looks pretty encompassing. It looks neat as well (model of a block of an engine and crank shaft). You can access it from the opening dialog box from Alibre. Pick the "Tutorial tab" and then pick "Assembly Design" and then pick "Creating a simple Assembly".

I have the tutorials and yes that answered all my questions. The tutorials are a must, they are so well done , I'm a MD user so this software was not a stretch to learn but for somone who has never used this type of software the tutorials will make you a pro in 10 hrs.
