Not total sure if this would be considered off topic, but all you guys have been so helpful with my other questions.
I built a belt drive conversion for my little X1 and for the most part it works pretty well. However once my spindle speed exceeds about 3000 rpm I start getting some vibration. The problem is in the shaft adapter from the motor to the pulley. I am sure that the hole the motor shaft goes into is a little bit out of round. I used a standard twist drill hoping that it would work. I don't have a reamer which is what I think would be the best tool choice or a super mini boring bar. Final hole size is .314 and about 1.25" deep. Any ideas that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
Thanks,
Jeff Davis
