A little side note for anyone not aware of this. PDF files can be downloaded and opened much faster than opening in a browser. Usually by a factor of 10 or more. With a broadband connection, pdf's that may take what seems like several minutes to open in a browser can usually be downloaded in a few seconds.

I recently downloaded and installed a little 'widget' that reduces the time required to open Acrobat as it only loads the 'plug-ins' required for viewing files. I am very impressed with it so far and it is a simple click to turn on and the same to turn off if you want full access to Acrobat's other features. The time difference is quite staggering and Acrobat now opens in the blink of an eye (ok maybe twoOriginally Posted by ger21
