    Trimpot Adjustment

I just wonder how you adjust the trimpot on the G540. It looks like that when I put a small screwdriver in the hole there is no some kind of a slot to accept the screwdriver plus it looks like that there is a red LED in that hole and feels like the screwdriver slides on a glass surface.

So is there a screw in there that you should be able to turn and adjust?

Also where do you set on Mach3 the axis being adjusted to 2 revs per second as the manual says?

you can easily see it with a light. It is a small Philips screw driver that's required. I took a cell phone photo, and it's clear as day.

On the MIDI screen type in Gcode commands and when you have it all in, hit Enter. The axis you commanded will start moving at the speed you told it to.

    Typical command might be G01 F1 X10

That command tells the X axis to go to 10" or MM at 1" or MM per minute feedrate.

Replace the X with Y for the Y axis and adjust the destination for your Z height. This will move each axis very slow and you will be able to hear the Drives when you adjust them.
If you have a slave drive, do both those drives while they are running under the Master command, be it X or Y.
