Greetings, I am converting a Dynamyte DM3300 from a Mitsubishi Meldas control to Mach3. Motion control is a piece of cake. The spindle is what has me stumped.

I thought I had a leg up on it after acquiring a manual for Freqrol-SF spindle drives. It had a schematic that included start/stop, +-10V analog, alarm, e-stop, etc. This was all on the 50 pin CON1 cable to the motion control.

Unfortunately, the pin-out completely contradicted what is outlined in one of the manual that came with the lathe--Meldas AC Servo MR-S10 Maintenance Manual. The cabling for the DM3300 has the X and Z servo amps daisy chained to the Freqrol spindle inverter. So this is the correct pin-out. Here, motion is not controlled by +-10V but by SCLK and BCLK. My question is: has anyone had any success integrating a Freqrol spindle drive with Mach3.

Thanks for you consideration.
