3D Profile - machining regions separately

    Hi all,

I'm a bit new to 3D milling with Cambam, I was just wondering if there is a way to mill a single 3D shape in separate sections? For example, in the attached pic of a guitar neck, doing the headstock, back shape and heel using different operations?

    Thanks!

    Why?

Sounds like invitation for errors; i.e., one set of MOPS not matching exactly with another..

machining time, more than anything... essentially the headstock and heel regions are 2.5D, so milling them with a 6mm ball mill at 10% stepover just doesn't make sense to me
