    Question ANILAM CRUSADER II Problem

We have a Bridgeport Series I with the Crusader II controller. The problem is the Z-axis is no reading in the + direction, it reads in the - direction. The scales are OK I check them and switched them around with the same results. It trips out the servos whenever you try to move any axis with the manual buttons. I noticed that the Z is slowly moving in the + not reading when the machine is turned on, and I hear a high pitch whine from each servo. Does this sound like a board in the controller.

Hook up one axis at a time and move with handwheels to make sure they are counting in right direction. If so, run in test mode to check balance and signal settings,. If you can use meter, check with that instead. Sounds tho that you have z reader head problem.
