    Question what would be the best bit for engraving?

    I would like to start doin engraving and routing 3d images. i have 1/16 bit but it only has a max depth of ~1/4". what but would work for deeper cuts that has the same detail of 1/16" cutters.

    Yes I think they would be very good for that sort of thing

    Here is another supplier who may be a bit cheaper,

    Depending on the size of job and detail required look at using a 1/8" ballnose bit.

    That's what I use for that sort of carving. But of course the 1/16" will give finer detail. And much longer cut times.
