    New today in UK

Hi, I have monitored this site many times but have only just registered. I have an all manual well equipped hobby workshop but now feel the need for a CNC facility, having considered a manual pantograph mill, to cut the profiles of sheet, probably no thicker than 2mm and normally less, in brass and nickel silver with an overall sive not expected to exceed 500mm by 200mm. I am able to build most things but time is my main limitation.

Any advice on stepper drive ratings, I am assuming ball screws, and use of Mach3 software. CAD/CAM software Turbo CAD perhaps ?
