I'm new to posting wonderd if anyone could help on fixing my Arrow 750?

not shure on what controler I have.
but i'm getting error 9181: y axis encoder phase signal fail.
error 9183: y axis encoder reference signal fail.

Any help would be helpful

You have to find out what control is in your machine CT Or Acramatic?

All the control panel says is cincinnati milacron
the main board says spindex.
does this help

I think is a CT control, and is possible that water got inside the servo motor.
Check all the plugs and if that don't work, you may have to take the motor apart to dried it out, just be careful not to brake any thing.

Well no plugs no water in electric connections. but can't seem to get the back plate off motor. has a round cap on back plate took bolts out but just wiggles wont come of. so itook thbolts of back cover and that wont move at all.the motor is from control technoligy.

Be careful not to mess up the encoder or resolver whichever apply .

no luck i guess ill have to take the motor out to get it apart.

Well finally got the motor out and it looks to be dry inside.
Is there any way to check it?
It's a DutymAx MS
Model115MSA040200AG 220 volts

Found the problem it seems my servo board went out Thanks for your help.

not yet its on it way to detroit for rebuild.
its a max ax 100 board and they are not available new
good news is insurance will pick it up and pay some of my labor
bad news is im getting busy and no cnc.

You probably should start your own post rather than piggy back on one 3 years old..... that said.....

you probably have a cincinnati a2100 control.

you probably have some error message that displays on the cnc screen telling some clue what is the problem or issue - they say in english what the issue is.

If'n you post the words it says, you probably will get lots of help, but just the error code number doesn't do it for most folks, including us.

Your title says VFS5 so you have our Kollmorgen private labeled spindle drive; if you list the error we can help you.

I have a cincinnati A 2100 control .the spindle drive send out to repair ,but when we install to machine found out (CPU LED )flashing .that time i know software miss ,we send out to reload the software .them i get this Alarm NCA-Spindle drive fault ,The spindle drive is indicating a fault ,the could be caused by either a spindle motor or drive overtemperature condition or the spindle regen unit (if fitted )is faulty input M1SPDL-FAULT(100:00/22)is off.

sounds like ur vfs5 is still broke. with that error description I dont know how to help you diagnose it; do you have a wiring diagram of the machine? know how to to follow it to check those things you listed? but it seems like the long way around getting the machine back running..... how about thinking of it this way:

Did the machine work before the spindle drive broke?

If it did, then the drive is probably still broke since the machine still does not work.

sounds like you need to either send it to the rpr shop again for another try, or consider sending it somewhere else to get it fixed right.

if u decide to send to same place for warranty try again, ask them if they have access to the password protected proprietary internal software: if it got corrupted, few places are capable of helping you.
