    Concerned, any insight greatly appreciated!

    Hello all!
I made the step today and purchased an inexpensive laser cutter/engraver. I tried and tried to get funding together for an epilog or universal, but to no avail. The unit I purchased is by AIP, and my concern is with the software. It comes with moshidraw. I have been researching and it seems people have issues cutting vector shapes. It is stated that moshidraw can import corel via a plugin.
Has anybody had any experience with this or similar software? I really don't want to purchase and install a new board. I may be able to cancel my order if necessary. Thanks in advance!

    Jtron5,

Moshi is definitely not ideal, but you can cut vectors with the latest version (v9.0) and import files from Corel.

Earlier versions would not import vectors although they could still cut in vector mode.

    Zax.
