GRIZZLY G0619 IN THE ALBQUERQUE AREA?

I think I've narrowed my mill search down to the Grizzly G0619 mill and am wondering if there are any owners in the Albuquerque area that would let me take a look at your machine before I make the final decision. Also, does anyone know if Grizzly ever puts this machine on sale. Please PM me if you have the G0619. Thanks. Rick.

    Rick,

The Harbor Freight 93885 is almost the same exact mill, minus the variable speed readout.

They have 20% percent off coupons every month, $800.00 is a great deal.

    Jeff,

Thanks a lot, but one of things I really want is the variable speed although it looks like I'll pay a lot for that. I'll still check out the HF model.

    Rick,

I misinformed you, it does have variable speed however it does not have the speed readout.

I've looked at both the X3 and the HF. The Grizzly has a tilting head, digital speed read out and digital depth read out. I also read in the forum that Grizzly seems to have a better quality control on their machines even all of them appear to come from the same company. Also, I hear that Grizzly has great customer service. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for the input.

    Rick,

If you are going to convert to CNC the digital depth read out would be moot since Mach3 has DRO "readouts" for all axis.

I am way to frugal to spend the additional $600.00 for the Grizzly options.

A $23.00 index pulse card will interface with Mach3 for very accurate speed readout.

A rotating feature could be accomplished with a inexpensive slotted plate between the head.
