    Fanuc 0MA 4-th axis adding

    Fanuc 0MA
If I install I/O card A16B-1210-0590 with connectors for 4-th axis, does it cause appearing the 4-th axis name with coordinates on the CRT?
Could I to use 4-th axis with PMC-L?

You will have to enable the axis by turning the options ON, and set the relevant parameters; not a 5 minute job but doable if you know what you are doing.

I decided to upgrade one old soviet machining center with indexed 4-th axis
now Fanuc 0MA is outstanding cabinet in my workshop and there is no PCB for 4-th axis and I have to take a decision how to do further: buy A16B-1210-0590 or separate indicators
also this Fanuc equipped only with PMC-L

I know about options and parameters, but they don't act without PCB.
Now I think I could install A16B-1210-0590 so that to see coordinates on CRT, but to control the 4-th axis via PLC

That could work, but I have no experience in how to control axis via PMC.
Don't know if PMC-L can handle that.
