    Unhappy Laser beam delivery

    Hello !

I intend to build a 2D CO2 laser cutting machine. I have already a 10W laser and I will buy another 100W tube. I know how to (safely !) use them and I have no problem with optical devices.

My problem is to know what is the best way to drive the beam up to the piece to be process via the 2D moving parts of the machine. I do not know if special infrared optic fibers exist or not (abble to drive a 100 w beam !).

    What is usually done ?

    Thanks for an answer !

    I reply to myself !

The only way to drive the beam is with mirrors. And it's a simple way.
