    PM schedule

    Does anyone have a daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance schedule that would apply to my '95 Fadal VMC-15?

    If you actually follow the manual, you'll be so busy doing maintainence, that you will never get to run the machine.

    Daily, I just make sure that there are no chips where there shouldn't be, around the way covers, in the tool changer.

    Fill up the waylube every Friday, check the chiller level and pressure.

    Check the coolant obviously.

    Every couple months check and reset backlash.

    Yearly, belleville springs and floater.

    Other than that, I just fix it when it breaks or starts making a funny noise.
