    Small Odd looking Mill ID

Saw a picture of this little mill in an upcoming estate sale the next town over, no other information on it other than picture. Never saw a mill without a t-slot table. Anyone have any ideas on what it is or who makes it? Be nice to have some info on it before I drive a 100 miles to see it...

    thanks,

    matt

Probably because it looks more like an odd drill press with an X-Y table.
Appears to be very well cared for.

That is no ordinary setup. I dont know what brand it is, nor its purpose. But, look at the ways on that machine ( very heavy and wide) and look at how the spindle is made. It appears to be some kinda high quality unit that way made for very accurate small bit drilling.

It really looks like something that was made for a lab back in the 50" or 60"s. It appears to have a couple of different feed wheels for the spindle so I feel sure it has a very fine feed atleast. I would say if you can get it at a good price go for it. It may be nothing but the heavy ways on that machine tells me it was built to very acurate, but i may be wrong. Even the spindle seems to be over built.

GOD Bless, and prayers for all.
