    Bosch Tuning, Sem Motor Brushes

    Attached are some files relating to Bosch axis drive tuning on a Bridgeport knee mill and some notes about SEM motor brush life etc.

    same as in the r2c3 book, for installing a new drive, usually never have to change anything but the tach pot.

    funny, never done brushes, have one machine 12 years, gotta have over 5k hours on it myself, and it was 8years old when I bought it.


    coolant ingress is the biggest issue I ever have
