    Looking for actuated Vacuum Valves

    Hi All,

I am looking for actuated Vacuum valves about 1 1/4"
I prefer electric 24vdc but any voltage or even pneumatic will do.
Trying to keep it under $100 each.
Can’t seem to find anything other than a Chinese ones that only open with a rubber diaphragm and there is virtually no flow.

    These might work. https://www.electricsolenoidvalves.c...olenoid-valve/

I would ask them if they work with vacuum, but since there is no minimum pressure, they might.

That is the type I have tried.
Unfortunately opens just a time bit so it limits air flow.

Three more ideas come to mind:
    1) Motorized ball valve, there are some in the <$100 range
    2) Build your own air actuated ball valve using an air cylinder to move the handle.
    3) Camping trailer gray water gate valve, replace the stem with an air cylinder. https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Sewer/Valterra/T1001A.html

How about something like Univer's AG-3021. (Www.univer-group.com). We use the AG-3021 at work on hgh speed packaging equipment. Id call them reliable but i have no idea as to the cost. ASCO would be another place to check on.

There is always the high vacuum valve technolog. Kurt J. Lesker, Varian, Ancorp, Edwards Vacuum, and many others. These are likely expensive choices as nost choices in this category are stainless steel and designed for clean environments.

Another possibility is to check with manufactures of centralized vacuum systems. No experience here, the idea just popped into my head.
