    Strange Chinese laser engraving behaviour

Being a non-technical, i can't sort out what can ben the problem with the behaviour of my machine in engraving.
I attach the pictures of how the machine erroneously works, my setup is an MPC03 PCI card with 80W laser power supply.

Do someone of you know which component (laser tube, power supply, controller) can cause this problem? I assure you cutting is perfect, this shows up only in engraving.

Any help is appreciated, as I have already tried to sort out the thing by varying every possible parameter, and being the third machine i own, i made a bit of experience in operating them.

    This time anyway i'm clueless..

    Hello,

I had a similar problem with mine with MPC03 software cut all ok but engraving was doing something like yours.

You need some one to test the PCI card as one or more of the soldered joints may have split as these are mass produce they some times miss some of the solder , i had mine checked and that is what they found but it is not a cheap job and i only know of one company in OZ that do this maybe more in europe

    Good luck

    Sorry for your troubles.

Are there ANY Chinese lasers that aren't horror stories? Everything I see is just awful. Shame.

Looks like you might have some slop in the X axis belt. What software are you using. There should be an adjustment for this problem.

Have you checked your focuse lens?
1.Is it give a actual dot(not weak circle) when you adjust the Ray focuse
2.Be sure the laser head is fixed and tighten. When you are engraving, the head will moving left-right, thy RAY will ratch the inside of laser hole. So will influence the engraivng effect.
