    Centurion V keyboard

Anybody know where I can get an external keyboard that fits the oldstyle goofy socket on a mid 90's CNC? Alternatively, does anybody know how to activate the page up function on the operator panel? I need to redo the CMOS and can not set any values using the built in keyboard because it does not have a pageup/down button or arrows.

Go to the computer recycling place and have a look for an old IBM keyboard with the large DIN plug.

The comp in the control is a 386, so that should give you an idea of what age equipment you are looking for.

I'm not sure if there are adapters available to adapt down from a mini-DIN plug (matches the mouse/keyboard ports) or not.

A computer place that deals in office and store/retail/point of sale stuff might be worth checking out, more than one that caters to the gamer set.

    G'luck!

    Cheers

Thanks. I will try that. Yes, the computer stuff is old. It has a 486 chipset in it, circa 1992.

    thanks again
