    breakout board for Gecko drives

    Hi Guys,

I'm new to the hobby and have been doing some research into drives lately.

I've come across Gecko drives and see that they really don't offer breakout boards other than in a kit (i.e. G540)

Any recommendations on breakout boards for use with the Gecko drives?

Hi Johnny. Welcome to the Zone!

The Cadillac is the PMDX-132. This is what I recommend, because it is extremely simple to install:

Here's some general info for you:

    Hi Johnny,

Have a look at the MB-02 breakout board I sell. It works very well with all Gecko drives and has a number of very useful features. Additionally, it has a connector that alows it to be hooked up to the smooth Stepper if that is the way you intend to go.

    Hello Crevice Reamer,
That http://www.pmdx.com/PMDX-132 is for g203 stepper only, or can be used for g320 servo? Thanks.

5th item in the "features" says it does NOT support the servo drives.
