    First timer

This is my first time so be gentle, I am attempting to make a moving table cnc, like, well, everyone else here and i am starting with the cheapist route possible, that is with some printer stepper motors and making the controller myself i was wondering if any one had done that and used the aleggro a3967 instead of the unc 5804 and if there where any wiring issues if so what? I' m currently designing the table. I'll post some pictures of that if i can get some electrical help, even if no one can help i'll still post some design pictures i guess. Worse comes to worse i guess ill just fork over the money for the good stuff if i dont have to yet i wont.

Btw i already know i am going to find a long lived addiction here. I am an apprentice machinist and i just cant get enough at work so i am constantly buggin my girlfriend and dreaming up designs.
