    OSP7000 RS232

    let's start with one thread.
So. Your problem still is not clear.
Have You so small file only two lines?
    or:
Your file is large, let's say 2kB, but only two lines of file are received.
    which case?
    Your cable diagram, please.
What about transfer to other side?

cable is correct for communication. For settings and adjustments it's better to add two more pairs to cable:
    DB-9: 1 =DB-9:6=DB-25:20
    DB-9: 2 =DB-25:02
    DB-9: 3 =DB-25:03
    DB-9: 4 =DB-25:06
    DB-9: 4 =DB-25:08
    DB-9: 5 =DB-25:07
    DB-9: 6 =DB-9:1=DB-25:20
    DB-9: 7 =DB-25:04
    DB-9: 8 =DB-25:04
    DB-9: 9 nc.
Serial communication setting You will find in parameters. Pay attention, if there are separate settings for punch and for read port.
Try with small text (let's say, two lines) transfer from OSP to PC and describe the result:
    1. communication time. Does file transfer starts instantly after command?
    2. initial handshake and LFCR. Does next line of transfer appears instantly after first line (file name)?
    3. Check sum, packet size. Are all characters transfered properly? What about capital/ small letters?
    4. communication errors - program on PC side messages, wrong letters, missing symbols and so
    5. OSP error message. Is file transfered from OSP without warnings?
    6. Does PC program understands file end the same time when transfer from OSP ends?
These answers will help to diagnose the communication problem
