    Cutting glass

    Yeah, weird question, I know.

Working on a project that will require shaped pieces of glass. Flat, of course, but with various designs - for example, circle, square, triangle, figure 8, s-shape, etc.

Everything I have seen online talks about using a diamond roller cutter then snapping out the patterns. Seems it would be tough to get real accuracy by hand. Is there some sort of abrasive but they put in a router to cut glass? I'm talking 1/8" thick and the parts would be about the size of the palm of your hand.

I do have a router table that I could use - but is there another/better way? Looking to do this in-house, as I will occasionally need 10-20 of various shapes and need to be able to do them as I need them.
