I purchased a machine with parameters gone, dead battery.
Shizuoka provided me with parameter list, I uploaded.
Everything works except the manual handle.
Shizuoka not willing to help anymore.
Their are no faults or errors that I can find.
Looking at the pmc ladder logic I can see that axis selection is not being made because of bit D501.0 on one rung, or 1007.2, 1007.3, and 1007.4 on another rung.
There are no comments in the ladder, or I do not know how to turn on.
I have all of the manuals except the one on programming the ladder.
Any ideas on what these bits are and how to track down?

There may be an OEM PLC "bit select" option to set. Option "bits" are often written in the original OEM paperwork delivered with the machine.

Have a look for the input addresses on the electrical drawings of the handwheel increments and then search these in the PMC ladder. Look for the option bit here. i.e. F000.0 etc;
