    Gecko to Galil ICM-2900 Break out board

    Hi,
    Anybody have a diagram for connecting a Gecko G201 10 uStep Drive to a Galil ICM-2900.

    Seems the terminology on the Galil is not what our engineers are used to.

    Thanks
    KMM

    I'd go to "Ask The Doctor" on the Galil website. Depending on the silkscreen on the front of the module, you connect the step/direction to PULSX/DIRX or PWMX/SIGNX.

    The instructions I have also mention SM jumpers. I don't know if all Galil cards need to be configured. I have the 21X2 Ethernet card.

    Got my check up

    Yea I posted the same question there. I had kinda figured out the +5 , Pulse, Direction. It's just the diable function I'm a little foggy on.

    Opposite of dis-able is enable to turn the drives on and off. One enable for each axis. Also is an "abort" input. Not sure what you want to do.

    :banana:
    Step = Pulse = PWM
    Sign = DIR
    Disable = AEN or AMPEN
