    Question BobCad Crashing on receive

    Hi All,

I have, for 2 years now, been dealing with an issue with BobCad in regards to when I receive programs from my Fanuc Controllers. The program sends fine but I get a microsoft error. It's a minor annoyance because I can still save the file before the program closes. Any thoughts on this?

    Which Version are you using?

There was a problem in Version 18 and 19 that revolved around this issue, it was because the system wasn't handling a character that came through. I think it was resolved around V20 or so.

    Regards

Sounds like you may be right. I am still using v19. Short of updating to the new version is there any way to resolve this. Or am I just going to have to live with it?

Sorry, there is nothing that can really be done to resolve this one.

You can try re-wiring the cable, but that is more a pain in the (nuts) than anything else, and it may not work.

You could probably get 21 for a steal.

    Regards

Thanks much for the info. I'll have to look into V21...
