Innovative Design from a Real Designer

    Hello!

I can help individuals or businesses take their development efforts and presentation to the next level. I have eschewed my day jobs after 10+ years in design and development environments and now work with a variety of clients on their product, software, and other creative and technical projects. I am confident that my wide range of professional and personal experience within both the design and production industries is very difficult to expect from most of the service offerings in this price range.

I have time to take on more projects.

Checkout my website; offering 3D MCAD Design, Web Development, 2D to 3D, design documentation, model making, software development, prototype electronics, and more!

    Thank you,
    Robert

JROM - I know 10 years is paltry compared to the 25-40 many 'veterans' have - however, I am proud of the work i have done both within larger organizations and as an individual - sadly almost all of it is Non-Disclosure protected so i cannot show it off. within either of the world class manufacturing organizations i worked within, i didnt meet a single 'old timer' who could pull off 1/10th of the design trickery i can, nor could they do it in 10x the time. i did meet some amazing engineers and craftsmen who can do things i wouldnt think of - one of my greatest business assetts is having the support and knowledge of these sorts of individuals who are a phone call away.

not bragging. just the way it goes.

It is all fine to talk about an idea - why not present it?

Thanks for kind sentiments though! I am not expecting to garner any 'clients' from this site, i just like this site and like the feedback it generates for me.

i will take a day job again in the future..

thanks for the responses. and, JROM, even if you are not too old, i wouldnt recommend this path to most people.. even myself!

i will also mention that i am interested in branching out, possibly with a partner of some kind or by doing some work for trade of service(business lawyer), or products\other tangible items. Without the reliable day-job income, it is much harder to work on my own r&d and also be financially secure!

i could imagine a very good relationship between a small manufacturer of some sort who needs allot of design work done, and has products i need.(hint hint)

The cost of professional design services are not trivial, as anyone with a serious business has found out as they have had to learn to compete with the general combined democratization of supplier choices and decentralization the internet has fostered. On-line printing is a good example. Good luck to any print shop that isn't moving towards overnightprints.com's example.

I am more or less 'running a special' on web design, although I would not call it that specifically. The attached flyer is part of a larger catalog I am creating . Comments are welcome, even criticism. http://www.robertguyser.com/rgcswebdesign.pdf
