I am making some parts that have a dome face on them, but I cannot figure out how to wrap the text on the dome face and create a toolpath for the text. I am running version 9.1
Draw the text above the dome. Then use the Project command to project the geometry onto the dome. Then use Toolpath Contour to cut the newly projected geometry. Set comp to off for cutting on the geometry line (engraving).

Do as mike stated at the begenning and create the geo flate above it and use Toolpath surface project and set it to curves it will prompt you for the surfaces and the curves this will creat a path down the center of the curves you pick and project it to the dome.

ya both ways will work,,although i personally prefer to project the lines down myself manually, cant say why,, thats just the way i like to do it.. :P
