    I bought a motor with the following specs, can someone recommend a drive?

    On the side of the motor it has got the following:

    Hitachi DC Motor
    Type: D06d401E
    Volts:30 Output:42W
    Amps:2.0 Rating Cont.
    RPM: 2750 INS.CL.:B
    Richoh: P/N Encoder:400 P/R
    AX060028

    I was hoping to pick up a cheap second hand drive, or a new one if they're cheap enough.
    I just don't know what to look for.

    I suspect the pros will need more info on the motor. Is it a brush servo? Is 42w big enough to do the job you are asking of it?

    I am not aware of any cheap servo drives. I would think the Gecko or the Rutex servo drive would be your best bet for the time/money.

    I Have also 3 motors of the same type and want the help to use in my home made cnc machine . how to control them . the encoder is 200 P/R for to motor and the third one is 400 P/R .
