Hi Folks,

After much research on the subject, I was wondering if anyone is doing contour cutting *without* a contour cutter? For the most part it looks like the "standard" way of doing it is with a laser head equipped cutter, but I find people on ebay claiming their product will contour cut with only aligning the "pointer" with the printed registration mark. (They were using Flexi Starter)

Has anyone done this? Is it possible to simply align by hand the alignment mark and do the cut? I'd like to try my hand at contour but don't want to drop another wad of money just to see how it works! If you have done it, please share what software/hardware you have used either successfully or unsuccessfully! Thanks! -James

some of our customer drawing the shape of your printed pattern on the transparent film, then make the printed pattern meet the shape drawing on the film. It is one way to do counter cutting without a laser lamp.
