    Roland MDX-650 any good?

    Hi guys...
I was asked to look for a desktop CNC for a group of us dumb engineers...no cnc training at all...just pro-engineer CAD. I was recommended the Roland MDX650 because of its features and subtractive RP software. We desire a machine with ATC for less than $25k and this is close. Anyone know where we can get the best deal or another machine that is similar? Recommendations?

We desire the ATC, ~10krpm spindle speed, non-ferrous metals and plastic machining and at least 10" travel

    Thanks

best suggestion i could offer is buy used. you will get bent over otherwise. if you can find someone getting rid of something you will save a $$$ and at the same time probably get a better machine too.

its a roland...... look it up........ See what people are saying about them that use them. Not from a sales person or spec sheet.
