    Plans for steel construction?

Anyone able to point me in the direction of some plans for a steel based CNC design? Spied a few on the forums, but none with plans available, mechmate doesn't look like it could be scaled down easily...

Looking for something I can scale down to roughly 18" x 18" x 5" cutting surface.

Not a big fan of woodworking - and working in a shop that would fall into the millwright category; the steel scraps/leftovers beat the heck out of those wood scraps I'm still drooling over the 60' of 1" acme threaded rod (and dozens of nuts) I found that's now superfluous (was spares for the clamps on a glazing router - which has now been replaced)

Steel framed, laminate-trimmer based CNC router with alum and plastic parts, (which could be made from steel no problemo). no wood parts.
