If I should be posting this in a different forum, forgive me.
I just got a new Haas mill and I have a copy of Visual Mill on the way. Even so, I'd like to write a lot of my code by hand. It seems that the Predator CNC Editor software is a good learning tool for writing by hand because it will backplot to let you see what your code is going to do on the machine. It's $575 however. Is there another good code editor out there that will do backplotting that's a bit less expensive?
