    PathPilot toolpath?

machining a part and generated a post from Fusion 360.

imported the TAP file into PathPilot and it shows a massive "plunge" on Z axis?

Or am i imagining things? the GCode doesnt reference Z beyond like -0.3 inches

loaded gcode into GWizard Editor and the simulation there doesnt have this at all? neither does Fusion's CAM

So i took a chance and I ran the cycle with near zero speeds and it never plunged or followed that line down on Z?

    is this normal?

Looking at the GCode it goes to Z0.193 at f15 then to Z0.0324 at F15. It then plunges to Z-.023 at F5 which all looks normal.

Not sure why it is displaying this way. I will load it on my mill tomorrow and see what it looks like.

When I load your program in my Mill this what I get in Side View Mode I did not have the tools the same as you but it looks like it runs ok.

You might try setting your workpiece z 0 first before loading the program to see what it looks like.

I ran the program in air, the thing I noticed is the rapid down to the work height was very slow on the initial rapid, after that they seemed OK, I had a couple arc too small warnings, the program did run though, really couldnt tell much as I was cutting air.
