I need the center hole to go through and the bottom where I have the surface now to close out the bottom of the object and well as at the top.

Paul,
What I would do is construct the wireframe profile as the outside shape of your part only. You only need to draw the profile once at one Z level.
Then, use "surface from curves" (from the Create surface menu) to turn this into a surface. Next, use Extrude surface (from the Create Solids menu) to turn this into a solid of the correct height.
Next make a cylinder using the cylinder function on the Create Solid menu. Position it correctly inside your first extruded part to act as a solid cutter. Then, use the "solid cutter" or "Difference" from the Operations menu to do the cutout.
Your original geometry is a little bit off, because the outer profile of the part does not extract as a complete chain all around. You'll need to watch that your trims and placements are geometrically tangent. Perfect is good
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

Paul I did find some issues with your part and found it easier to just recreate it , what I did was:
1) Extract all top entities using Model>extract Single Edge
2) Delete all other entities
3) Surface extracted edges using Model>Create Surface> Surface from Curves
4) Extrude using Model>Create Solid> Extrude (-.520)
5) Create cylinder using Model>Solid>cylinder (X=0 Y=0 Z = 1
6) Coordinates will be X=0 Y=0 Z = -.6
model>Operations>Difference
highlight outer entity, click then highlight cylinder click
your done
Paul you might benefit other OneCNC users by posting on the OneCNC forum since not all of them are subscribed to your great site.
Paul cannot get the dang file to upload,
Let me try one more time
OK I'm mad now
One More time
OK so I type slow, big deal
Top marks, Ken! Your method is sound
Hopefully we can show Paul enough methods to get him off and flying with XR. Solid modelling rocks once you get a few drawings under your belt.

You bet Hu, XR rocks big time, I am actually beginning to consider myself a non-newbie
No "Hot Dogs" left here.
Guess I'll go sniff around somewhere else.

Ward, I recall an age old adage ,
"You snooze you lose"
Ward, I just noticed we're twins, 516 post each
Well we were, my 516 mysteriously turned to a 517 so you talk to me with the respect due an elder
