Greetings, Everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum...sorry if this is the wrong place to do this, but I couldnt find another, more appropriate one.

My name is Mike, and Im a first year Machinig Technologies student at Tri-County Community College in Murphy NC. This is the first year the college is offering this curriculum, so it is a work in progress. We are fortunate to have a teacher with 30+ years experience, (Props to Phil Jones)

We just received 4 new Haas machines, 2 TL1's and 2 TM1's, and a Mori Seiki Dura Turn 2500, we were manual only before that. The Haas tech was extremely helpful in getting us up to speed. (Props to Larry the Haas guy)
The Mori is still a big paperweight, but thats another story...

I currently work in the field, operating Mori Seiki NL2000 3 axis and NL2500 4 axis for a local manufacturing company, and also help run the Zeiss Gage Max CMM.

Please excuse in advance any uber-newbie questions I may ask.
