    shop math question

    if i have a part but no print. How do i figure out a radius corner on the part?

    Also, find the end of the radius and the start. That will give you the center of the radius.

    don't have a comparator or radius gauge

    eye ball it with a drill or something , if it doesn t need to be 100% accurate or make a radius gage just drill a piece of scrap and grind it back

    Do you have one of those drill size gauges, flat steel or plastic with holes in it for diff size bits. Use that as a radius gauge

    or print out varying sizes of arcs from a cad program and use that as comparison.

    OK. Try this. I assume 90 deg corner. Measure from the point where radius begins to the theoretical intersection of the two sides. That measurement is equal to the radius.
